Healthy eating habits are vital, and it all starts with our children. This October, Tony will be joining thousands of chefs across the country for Childhood Nutrition Day, sponsored by The American Culinary Federation. These events are designed to work within local communities to feed hungry children and to teach them the importance of eating healthy foods as well as showing them that healthy can be fun and delicious.
Tony's focus will be on plant-based foods, healthy fats, and balanced diet. Since all of our products are plant-based and quite colorful, The World's Best Salsa will undoubtedly be a hit.
This year's theme will be "Colors of the Rainbow." The American Culinary Federation created a "rainbow taste test" that features a fun and healthy recipe that kids can do. It can be found here.
